South Walton Sweeps North Bay Haven Behind Swift’s Career Night
SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. — South Walton volleyball extended its winning streak to 11 matches on Wednesday night, sweeping North Bay Haven 3–0 (25–23, 25–22, 25–18) at the Hawks Nest. The victory improves the Seahawks to 14–6 overall.
Senior middle blocker Jordyn Swift delivered the best match of her career, finishing with 17 kills on 27 swings for a .630 hitting percentage. It marked not only her career high but also one of the most efficient single-match hitting performances in program history.
Junior outside hitter Maci Jones added 16 kills and 11 digs, while senior outside hitter Ella Driggers contributed 6 kills and 3 service aces. Sophomore middle blocker Ava Hummel continued her steady rise with 3 kills on .750 hitting and a team-high 2 blocks.
Junior setter Evelyn Brandman fueled the offense with 36 assists and added 11 digs, maintaining her prolific season pace. Defensively, senior libero Kamryn Garcia anchored the back row with 9 digs, supported by Jones (11) and Brandman (11).
As a team, South Walton totaled 47 kills, 40 digs, 36 assists, 6 aces, and 4 blocks in the sweep. The Seahawks have now won 11 consecutive matches, including tournament titles and victories over top competition.
Up next, South Walton hosts Niceville at the Hawks Nest on Monday.
