South Walton Loses to 6A Mosley on the Road
SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. – September 9, 2025 – South Walton went on the road Tuesday night to face Class 6A Mosley, falling 3–1 in a competitive matchup. The Seahawks traded momentum across four sets and showed offensive balance and defensive resilience against the higher-classification Dolphins.
Junior outside hitter Maci Jones paced the offense with 26 kills on 63 swings (.302) and added 9 digs to lead the Seahawks’ attack. Senior outside hitter Ella Driggers provided a strong second option with 12 kills on 22 attempts (.455) and added 3 digs. Senior middle blocker Jordyn Swift contributed 7 kills, 4 blocks, and 6 digs while also recording 2 aces from the service line.
Junior setter Evelyn Brandman distributed the offense with 42 assists and added 13 digs and 1 block. Senior libero Kamryn Garcia anchored the defense with 19 digs and handled 18 serves at a 94.4 percent clip. Senior defensive specialist Annabelle Centeno contributed 11 digs, while junior defensive specialist Lindsay McMahan added 11 clean serve-receptions in three sets of play.
As a team, South Walton surpassed 50 kills and 50 digs, competing point-for-point with a top Panhandle program.
South Walton is scheduled to continue the week on Wednesday with another road test against Class 6A powerhouse Gulf Breeze.
