South Walton Celebrates Seniors with Sweep of Taylor County
SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. — The Hawk’s Nest was alive Tuesday night as South Walton volleyball honored its senior class and delivered a convincing 3–0 sweep over Taylor County (25–13, 25–9, 25–18). The win marked an outstanding Senior Night showcase for a program defined by connection, depth, and consistent execution.
Junior outside hitter Maci Jones led the attack with 7 kills, 6 digs, and 2 aces, while senior middle blocker Jordyn Swift followed with 6 kills on a .600 hitting percentage and 2 solo blocks. Senior outside hitter Ella Driggers added 5 kills, 5 digs, and 2 blocks as South Walton controlled momentum throughout the match.
Junior setter Evelyn Brandman directed a balanced offense with 23 assists and 5 digs, and senior libero Kamryn Garcia anchored the defense with 9 digs and 2 aces. Senior defensive specialist Annabelle Centeno added an ace and 3 digs, and junior outside hitter Macey Waldrop contributed both a kill and a dig.
Every Seahawk saw the court on Senior Night, with contributions across the roster. Freshman middle blocker Henley Beauchamp registered 4 kills on a .667 hitting percentage, junior setter Bianca Savi added 3 assists, and senior Laurali Douglass recorded a block in the win.
South Walton finished with 31 kills, 11 aces, and 5 total blocks in a complete team performance that reflected the program’s balance and leadership. The seniors’ impact was evident both in play and presence, setting the tone for the final stretch of the regular season.
South Walton (15–7, 2–0 District 1) returns to action Thursday night at home against Mosley.

South Walton High School competes in FHSAA Class 4A District 1 under head coach Meaghan Allen. The program has established itself as a consistent playoff contender, reaching the Class 4A Elite 8 last season and winning five straight district championships since 2019.
