Meaghan allen

Head Coach Meaghan Allen enters her seventh season leading the South Walton Seahawks, bringing over 20 years of coaching experience at both the high school and club levels.

Since taking over in 2019, Coach Allen has transformed the program into a consistent regional power. The Seahawks have claimed five straight district championships, made six consecutive playoff appearances, and advanced to the Class 4A Elite 8 in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Along the way, she reached her 100th career coaching victory, a testament to her leadership and consistency on the court.

Before joining South Walton, Coach Allen served as an assistant at Choctawhatchee High School, where she and her husband, Scott Allen, helped lead the program to its first FHSAA state championship in 2017.

A standout player herself, Coach Allen is a Choctaw High School alumna and was honored with the Gatorade Will to Win Athlete Award after helping her team set the school record for most wins in a season.

Coach Allen lives in Shalimar with her husband, Scott, and their son, Barrett. She remains deeply connected to the Emerald Coast community, where she continues to inspire athletes on and off the court.
